Carolin & Daniel // Wahner Heide + Dünnwald Köln

I am very glad that I met Carolin and Daniel, because out of our photosession, there were a lot of my favourite photos I did with models. It was designed as a kind of boho-wedding-style Shoot and they both delivered wonderfully.

First we were at the Dünnwald, which I just like with its‘ special trees and we did not have much sun, but the time we had a glimpse, we used it so well, even I was surprised how well it looked!

Then we drove to the Wahner Heide, which I always wanted to visit, because a lot of photographers go there for some photography session. And low and behold, there even were two other couples with their photographer. It was Kind of crowded! But we searched for places which suited us and the great landscape did its‘ work well.

Andrea & Andreas // Blücher Park Köln

Before I headed to Valencia I got the pleasure to photograph these two lovebirds in the nearby Blücher Park. It was my go-to running place and at the same time it was a great place to take some photos. Yeah, even it it meant to wait for a lot of people to go by. Sometimes some people hid behind trees, that was very kind of them! 

Andrea and Andreas were too Kind and beared the not too warm day and we walked all over the park to find the best spots and I think we got them. It is always a surprise to shoot in other Seasons and you can use what nature gives you. The light was a Little dull, but alright for that day. We used the leaves, hence the autumn vibe the shoot gave us. This Shows again, you can shoot at any time when the right People are involved. And These two were great Sports to shoot with!

I wish them both a great future and all the best. And for you Folks, the photos of that day. 

Barbara & Joachim // Abtei Brauweiler

Es ging zum zweiten Mal in die Abtei Brauweiler dieses Jahr und erneut hat es mir Spaß gemacht dort gewesen zu sein! Es war eine schöne, laute Feierlichkeit mit tollem Ambiente. Die beiden hatten sichtlich Spaß an ihrem Tag! 🙂

Daniela & Richard // Castle Paffendorf

I am a lucky man. Friends of friends marry and I was the one who got recommended. I was glad, that Daniela and Richard chose me to be their wedding photographer. We also went for a couples shoot beforehand at the Dünnwald in Cologne. They were insync and could deliver from the first minute. I had no worries that the wedding day would be as much fun as the photoshoot beforehand. Just look at those happy faces! I am so glad, that they could celebrate into the late evening or early morning. 

Hannah & Timo // ZAK + St. Ursula Köln

My first Tent-Wedding. No, I mean, Circus-Wedding. I mean…yet another extraordinary wedding. This time in the beautiful chuch St. Ursula in the grand viscinity of the cologne cathedral and after this at ZAK, where circus tents were. The decoration was beautiful and it was a deligth to see a wedding party held at this kind of location. It was special! There was popcorn, cotton candy and all the things you want. Kind of a dream for a cheerful, happy wedding event. Thanks so much again to these two for having me at their wedding!

Luisa & Pascal // Waldhotel Rheinbach

It is always nice to have a small ceremony with just your loved ones and the friends you really want to see at your wedding day. Luisa and Pascal did have a great ceremony at the Waldhotel Rheinbach and that even outside. In Germany there is always a Chance that the weather is not good, but fortunately there was some sunshine, but mostly well lit cloudy backdrop, which served as a great softbox for the photos. I was able to accompany them for the ceremony as well as a small Portrait shoot with the bride and groom. 

It was a funny ceremony, because I had to Photograph outside of the inner circle and Luisa once Forget some parts of her vows, but all went good. It was a happy crowd with a lot of smiles with wich one can get through everything!
